I took a taxi from Haneda airport to the hotel. Trying to take the metro trains with luggage, even just a carry on and backpack, when it’s your first time in Japan is crazy! If you came this far, then the convenience of a taxi is well worth it! The flat rate fare was 9000 yen. The driver dropped me off in front of the Trend Annex. I had a hard time finding the main hotel front desk. Final I asked two Japanese women to help me. Saying “sumemasen” is the majic word to get attention and help. When you’re standing facing the side street, go right and right again then 50 feet or so the Hotel Trend sign will be on the right. Blink once and you will miss it! It’s that small of an entrance. The front desk person was courteous and spoke a little English. It will be Very helpful if you learn some basic words in Japanese. The Japanese people really appreciate the effort and respect of being in Their country. And they will go out of their way to help you. The room was spotless clean. It was Very small! But I travel alone so no problem. Full size bed, small refrigerator, hair dryer, microwave on the third floor. The bathroom was clean. To get into the tube/shower you need to step over a 2 1/2 foot lip. If you have mobility issues then there’s a safety issue. The bed was comfortable and had two small square pillows with soba beads on one side and cushioning on the other. Surprisingly comfortable! I was fortunate to not hear any noise from neighboring guests and very little from the street. Always take ear plugs with you when you travel. Just in case. So if you can handle a very small space then this hotel is a great bargain. I hope your experience will be as good as mine was. Aloha from a white Hawaiian resident.

It is located 5 to 10 minutes from the Sensoji Temple, whose surroundings are quiet and good to rest after a long day. It is also near to the Misojyu onigiri breakfast shop. For it's price, I would say it offers everything as its best, from toiletries to good air conditioner and staff service. Even though it is slightly cramped (I couldn't open 2 suitcases in the room), it is worth the stay for the price. Hot water from the water heater was really hot with sufficient water pressure for a nice bath after a long day.

Hotel in a great location, the room was very clean. There was the hair dryer, cosmetics, toothbrush, toothpaste, even disposable hair brushes and a shower cap. When it comes to charging the phone, the sockets are Japanese - you need an adapter. Very comfortable beds. Note: Check-in is in the different building.

It was perfectly located, super close to the Sensō-ji Temple, which allows for a more cultural experience whilst also being close to night life and stores. The room was a good size and it does have an elevator.

Paloma

Perfect location in the middle of Asakusa, close to metro and train stations. We had fresh towels every day and when we opted for room service the room was left spotless
